White Ribbon has always been focused on fighting domestic violence and discrimination towards women, and after doing significant research, we realized that domestic violence is a consequence of a much larger problem: biased narratives against women. This is the main cause of the inequality women face in society that then leads to discrimination, violence, and abuse. This results in barriers that hold women back in terms of their rights, influence, and power.

We plan to build a Mobile App and Web Platform as innovative and easy accessible immediate self-help tool to combat gender based discrimination and violence. It will be available to anyone who needs it in just few clicks - anywhere, anytime.
COVID19 Impact
The White Ribbon Women Empowerment Campaign does not foresee its project’s implementation being negatively impacted by COVID-19.
In fact, we predict positive outcomes for the vulnerable women who likely are experiencing greater level of distress because of dire financial and emotional stresses, increasing rates of domestic abuse and violence, and discrimination resulting from COVID-19 related factors.
